It's Innate! is a podcast created by, and intended for, developmental psychologists and everyday people who are interested in understanding what infants and children know about the world and when and how they come to know it. The It's Innate! podcast consists of interviews with developmental psychologists, in-depth discussions about developmental theory and scientific evidence, and dialogues about key controversies that continue to play out in the developmental literature.
This podcast is a collaboration between Dr. Candace Lapan, an Assistant Professor at Wingate University, Dr. Elena Luchkina, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, and Dr. Deon Benton, a Visiting Assistant Professor at Swarthmore College. Candace is a trained developmental psychologist who earned her Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; Elena is a trained cognitive scientist who earned her Ph.D. from Brown University; and Deon is a trained developmental computational psychologist who earned his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.
